Lil' Explorers

Our Lil’ Explorers program is the perfect space to foster your preschooler’s sense of wonder. Join us at the Lussier Family Heritage Center to marvel at the natural world that is all around us! These $5 programs will provide a space for young kids to use all five senses, be active in the outdoors and learn how to work together. Each session we will investigate a new theme through games, walks, crafts, stories and so much more! The one-hour guided program will be followed by 30 minutes of youth-led free play with friends through our natural play area and jungle gym.

Topic of Exploration: 

Our Lil’ Explorers will investigate the powerful force that is… wind! We will spend the morning making paper airplanes, predicting flight paths, and helping spread native prairie seeds. A parachute may even make an appearance…
